Recently, a recording of the Handel Concerto for viola was discovered in a collection. This Music Minus One LP contains two Violin Sonatas, numbers 3 and 6, and a violin transcription of the B minor concerto. Music Minus One records contained accompaniment–either with full orchestra, harpsichord or piano–with the solo part omitted. Inside each record jacket was a booklet from which a player could read the solo part.
